The British School of Nanjing (BSN) opened in September 2007 following the steps of its sister schools in Beijing and Guangzhou. BSN was the first, and remains the only school in Nanjing to provide quality British international education.

Set in spacious gardens overlooking beautiful Baijialake, BSN caters for the expatriate community in Nanjing with a well balanced international student population of 25 different nationalities. The school sets itself apart in Nanjing by combining its academic rigour and selective enrolment policy with an enjoyable and energetic learning environment.

BSN works closely with parents to provide a wide range of social events for the children and families both during and after the school week. The school has been described by parents as an extended family, which spreads to every member of our teaching and non-teaching staff.

BSN is registered with the Ministry of Education in China and the Qualification and Curriculum Development Agency in the UK, as well as being an affiliate member of the Council of British International School (COBIS).
