Examination Success for BSN

2017 was another successful year for students at The British School of Nanjing.

With 94% of the exams taken being graded A*-C, this was another commendable set of results. Particularly pleasing was the high number of top-level grades, with 60% being awarded grade A* or A. In a year where many schools in the UK and internationally have seen a decrease in GCSE results, BSN students exceed expectations at both IGCSE and A Level, with the first two graduates leaving with great results and continuing their higher education in Australia and Italy.

A highlight was in the Modern Foreign Languages of Chinese, German, Spanish and Portuguese who continued their 100% record of grades A and A* at IGCSE.

Particular congratulations goes to Head Girl, Ahhyun Jeong, who continued her strong academic record and was awarded an A* in A Level Mathematics, with an exceptional UMS of 598 out of 600.

Headteacher, Mr Matthew Shephard, said, "All our students this year did wonderfully well. The results, across the board, reflect a fantastic individual effort from each one and I truly feel that every individual achieved to their fullest potential with the commitment and investment in success demonstrated by the teachers.”
